Working Holiday in the Hukvaldy chateau in Moravia

In the first week of September, an international volunteer working holiday was held with participants from the UK. It was organized in cooperation with the Olomouc Archbishop diocese and led by Petra Burová and Martin Škoda, our volunteer organisers from Northern Moravia.

The tasks included working in the newly restored chateau park in Hukvaldy, as well as painting the entrance gate to the chateau complex, landscaping the garden and helping out in the parish. Participants also enjoyed short excursions to the surrounding area visiting the Kunín Castle, Lower Vítkovice, Štramberk and Příbor.
