Brno hosted the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the work of architect Petr Franta
Following the successful presentation at the Czech Embassy in London of the impressive design for the Cairn of Peace in Slavkov by the architect Petr Franta, we saw the opening of the exhibition dedicated to his work in Brno.
“The Cairn of Peace was the first such monument in Europe to commemorate the thousands of soldiers on both sides of the famous Battle of Austerlitz who had no grave. This memorial is a reminder that humanity repeats the same mistakes,” said the author, architect Petr Franta.
