Activities of the Rožmitál Castle Association in 2022
The Rožmitál Castle Association provided regular guided tours, concerts and theatre performances. It also organised a summer film festival, art and social exhibitions and various events for children.
The castle and the adjacent park were also the venue for the annual Queen Joan Festival, a social event that attracts thousands of visitors with jousting tournaments and other historically themed programmes.
The association also collaborated with universities, specifically with the Department of Art Management at the University of Economics and the Institute of Landscape Architecture at the Czech Technical University. Students used the building for study or exhibition purposes. From this collaboration was born RePeTe Fest – a showcase of student and alternative art scene, which took place for the second time in 2022.
