A significant progress on our pilot project – Memorial to Marie von Ebner Eschenbach in Zdislavice: restoration of the front terrace and of the entrance to the tomb is nearing its completion!

The Olomouc office of Studio Acht has kindly designed a project concerning the access terrace to the tomb, including the solution of multiple complex drainage problems (the tomb is on a hill after all), all pro bona. It involved the removal of the unsightly concrete front terracing from the 1960’s, as well as reprofiling of the concrete walls and plenty of other specialist work, which we have all successfully completed. We shall finish the project by paving the terrace in the spring of 2021 – if the situation around the Covid-19 pandemic allows.
