Famous Cliveden, owned by the National Trust , who runs the park and thriving restaurant/cafe, information centre and lucrative parking. The main building is leased out to a hotel group and run as a 6* hotel. Place of the famous Profumo affair , more recently Megan Markle stayed there the night before marrying Prince Harry.
Our workshop was run by the general manager of the whole site who explained the ins/outs of running such a huge site as a profitable business, then the head gardener took us through our paces in the gardens and introduced us to quite a few out of about 300 volunteers who také turns in helping out to run the place! And then we were shown around the hotel and explained how to run a 6* business! End of the day saw us back in London exploring Soho and its bars !
